In to or Into - That is the Question

At least it was for me.  I don't remember it ever being an issue until a recent round of edits, and all of a sudden, I'm stumped.  Should it be "in to" or "into".  Maybe it seems straight forward to you, and honestly, I have to work my way back through the manuscript to make sure I spelled it the proper way for its context.
